Helen 'Tib' Holland slipped peacefully from this life into the arms of a loving Lord and Savior on Thursday evening, March 20, 2008 at her home in Yerington, Nevada with her son and daughter at her side. She was 86.

Helen was born in San Diego, California on February 2, 1922 the daughter of Walter and Mildred Tibbals and grew up in Bishop, California. Helen loved the outdoors and could hike, ski, hunt and fish with the best of them. She loved her family and friends and did much to help anyone who needed her. She had many dear friends that meant a great deal to her and who cared for her during these later years. Special appreciation to Joella Tiscareno for her unselfish love and care.

A gathering to happily remember Helen will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the Weed Heights recreation hall in Weed Heights (Yerington). Family and friends are invited to sign the online guest book at www.FRFH.net.

She is survived by her children, Angus (Pat) McDonald and Colleen Drury; her sister Barbara Beal; brothers, Joe and Don Tibbals; seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several step-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. All loved her dearly and will miss her. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Margaret McCloud.
