Obituary
Helen Virginia Thompson a resident of Yerington for many years went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 24, 2010. She was 90.
Helen was born in Illinois on June 1, 1919 the daughter of Bert and Buelah Crawford.
Helen left a legacy of a strong Christian faith. She was a very positive person who influenced all for good. Helen's family and friends rejoiced in her unconditional love.
Helen is survived by her children and step-children, Ayesha Rubio of Los Angeles, California, Richard Thompson of Tucson, Arizona, Linda Sue Hamilton and Cindy Lou Peek both of Reno, Nevada; by her eleven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Verna Bartsch and her three husbands, Henry L. Duncan, Mr. Sutherland and Cecil Thompson and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, June 18, 2010 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Yerington.
