Obituary
Herman Roger DeWitt passed away at his home in Yerington, Nevada on Saturday, July 31, 2010. He was 72.
Herman was born April 5, 1938 in Brea, California the son of Wayne and Charlotte (Burton) DeWitt. He was a United States Army veteran. Herman married Wanda Jean Sexton on June 8, 1956 in Buena Park, California. He worked as a construction foreman for many years.
Herman has lived the past 15 years in Yerington coming from Ontario, California. He enjoyed Golfing, Fishing and Hunting.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Wanda; his sons, Herman, Jr. and Rick; his daughter, Carrie DeWitt; his Brother, Wayne and his Sister, Betty; his grandchildren, Jayana DeWitt, Brittany DeWitt, Desiree Juarez, Sam DeWitt, Amanda DeWitt, Mike DeWitt, Shane Martin and Katrina DeWitt; and his 8 great grandchildren. He was proceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Frank and Jack.
In keeping with his wishes no memorial service will be held. Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home 25 Hwy 208 Yerington, NV 89447 was in charge of the cremation arrangements.
