Obituary
Idelle DeCroy entered into eternal rest with her loved Jesus Christ on Monday afternoon, July 11, 2011. She was 79.
Idelle was born in Yerington, Nevada on October 9, 1931 the daughter of Ed and Irene (Brown) DeCroy. She was a student at the Stewart Boarding School until the 8th grade. Idelle lived in Wellington until 1980 when she moved to her home on the colony in Yerington. She was fluent in the Paiute language. Idelle enjoyed yard work and gardening. Idelle was a very faithful person.
She is survived by her children, Florence, Mary, Carol, Larry and Gordon; her brother, Ben Decroy; her sister, Ellen Hess; 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In keeping with her request no formal service will be held. Idelle will be cremated and her cremains will be placed in the family plot in Smith, Nevada.
