Imogene Elizabeth Browning passed away at her home in Yerington on Saturday, November 18, 2023.  She was 93.

She was born in Montrose, Colorado on December 22, 1929 the daughter of Harvey and Susan Boyer.  She was one of nine children and was known by most family members as "Genie".  She married Darrell Lee Browning on January 17, 1976

Genie and Darrell loved to bowl and they spent every Thursday and Saturday bowling and if we ever needed them we knew where to find them.  She also loved to watch WWE wrestling and smackdowns on TV.

Genie had 5 children and when she married Darrell she was blessed with 5 more bonus children; she also had 30 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.

A memorial service has been set for 1:00 pm Monday, December 18, 2023 at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley.  A reception will follow the service back in Yerington at 3:00 pm at the Copper Hills Bible Church, 3 Falcon Way Yerington
