Inez Mae Jim passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at the South Lyon Medical Center, Long Term Care in Yerington. She was 89.

Inez was born in Yerington on January 31, 1927 the daughter of Dave and Ina (Penrose) Sharpe. She married Wesley Jim August 16, 1952 in Schurz.

Inez had worked over 37 years as a Registered Nurse. She had worked at the Walker River Indian Hospital and also at the Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital in California where she receive additional training. After retiring from nursing she worked many years for the Walker River Paiute Tribe as the Enrollment Officer.

She is survived by her son, Nelson; three grandchildren, Hillary (William) Boatman, Ellery (Mary) J. Picotte and Keith A. Picotte; two great grandchildren, Peyton Picotte and Senora Boatman; her sister, Evelyn Cook. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Wesley

Her funeral service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, September 10th at the Walker River Tribal Gym with burial at the Schurz Cemetery.
A viewing will be held Friday, 1 - 5 pm at the Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home in Yerington and also one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
