Inez Marie Russell passed away on Tuesday morning, March 2, 2011 at the South Lyon Medical Center in Yerington, Nevada. She was 88.

Inez was born October 30, 1922 in Tracy, Minnesota the daughter of Henry and Angie (Woods) Janto. She married Walter A. Russell in Van Buren, Arkansas on December 18, 1938.

Inez was a warm, generous, and loving woman, devoted to the Lord and her family. She loved cooking, entertaining, and being with friends. Her interests included traveling, flying, motorhoming, and painting. She was passionate about helping children and was a Camp Fire leader long after her children were grown.

Inez is survived by her husband of 72 years, Walter; her son, Bob (Laura) Russell and daughter, Margaret (Ian) Curley; her grandchildren, Robert Russell, Brenda Russell, Becki Rogers and Troy Russell; her great grandchildren, Jessica Russell, Lauren Russell, Katie Russell, Shyla Hungerford, Alexander Russell, Ashley Snider, Myranda Snider and Ted Snider; her 2 great great grandchildren, Max and Paytan.

Inez's graveside service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley, Nevada.
