Irene Dorothy Chiodo passed away at her home in Silver Springs on Saturday afternoon, August 11, 2007, and is now looking down upon us from heaven. She was 78.

Irene was born June 2, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of Michael and Susan (Barnes) Michalson. She was the beloved wife of Carmen Chiodo. They were married June 26, 1954 in Farrell, Pennsylvania. She was an active member of the Silver Springs Christain Center and she enjoyed the preaching and singing of Pastor Kay Mosley and Pastor Bud Mosley. Irene also held everyone from the Church close to her heart and appreciated their love and prayers.

She is survived by her husband of over 53 years, Carmen; her children, Susan I. McInnes, Lisa Danna and Carmen M. Chiodo; her sisters, Ethel Harris, Carolyn Barnes; her grandchildren, Angela Reimer, Timothy Reimer, Gina Chiodo, Rocco Danna (who is currently serving in the armed forces), Amber Danna, Mikki Danna, Jon-Paul McInnes; her two great grandchildren, Charles Falcone and Travis Anthony Reimer.

Funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Sunday, August 19th at the Silver Spring Christian Center
3250 Hwy 95A Silver Springs.
Interment will be at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley.
