Obituary
Iris Irene Brown passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at the Renown Medical Center in Reno. She was 82.
iris was born in Smith Valley, Nevada on August 3, 1934 the daughter of Claude and Ida Rife. She married Charlie Brown in Yerington on July 8, 1954.
Iris loved reading, sewing, and being with friends and family. She had been a member of the Eastern Star, the Hospital Auxillary and the United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her Son, Jerry (Diane) Brown of Vacaville, CA; her daughter, Darcy (Peter) O'Loughlin of Sparks, NV; her brother, Ronald (Sharon) Rife of Las Vegas, NV; her three grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. she was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her son, Joe.
Iris's memorial service will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, February 18, 2017 at the Community United Methodist Church in Yerington.
