James "Jim" Maser of Yerington, Nevada passed away at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Reno, Nevada on Wednesday, March 11, 2020. He was 76.
Jim was born in Brooklyn, NY on August 11, 1943. He worked in Information Technology for 50 years mostly as a mainframe computer programmer – he lived and worked in various cities across the United States during his long career in IT - during his later years he retired to Yerington. He spent his childhood and teenage years between New York and Pennsylvania. His fondest memories were pheasant hunting and fishing in Boyertown, PA. Jim loved all of his dogs and often talked about his horse "Jerry" whom he loved to ride when he was a young boy. He was a loyal "Philadelphia Eagles" fan. Whenever he had a chance to watch the Eagles on TV nothing stood in his way.
Jim is survived by his loving wife "Mona" of 43 years, his two sons "Bryan" (wife Ormee) of Modesto, CA and "Dana" (wife Kate) of Rocklin, CA, along with four grandchildren "Kai, Adara, Emmett and Charlotte". He is also survived by his sister "Loretta" of Hollister, CA with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Jim will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
