James Walter Munson, Jr. passed away on Saturday evening, November 2, 2019 at the Skyline Estates Senior Living in Carson City.  He was 80.

James was born in Ely, Nevada, October 12, 1939 the son of James and Romania (Fawcett) Munson.  He had served in the National Guard.  He had worked as a General Contractor, Munson's Construction for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Alice; his children, Jill, Jenni, Julie and James; numerous grandchildren; his sisters, Mona Veil and Wanda Espinoza, his brother, Robert.

James's graveside service will be held 1:30 pm, Saturday, November 9th at the Valley View Cemetery, 1 Cemetery Road Yerington.  A gathering will follow the service at Tailgaters Sports Bar, 517 W.
