Janice Marie Thomas passed away on Friday evening, March 9, 2012 at the South Lyon Medical Center, Long Term Care in Yerington, Nevada.  She was 80.Janice was born September 13, 1931 in Pomona, California the daughter of Harry and Lois Wood.Jan was an active member of the Mason Valley Southern Baptist Church.  She was a wonderful Wife, Mother and Grandmother.  She will be missed.Jan is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert Thomas; her son, Curt and his wife Nina Thomas; her grandchildren, CJ Thomas, Jennifer Bauer, Randy and his wife Pam Bauer.Jan' Memorial service will be held 11:30 am Saturday, March 17, 2012 at the Mason Valley Southern Baptist Church, 5 2nd South Street (Mason).Family and Friends are invited to sign her online guestbook at www.FRFH.net, sympathy cards may be sent to the family from this site.Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home, 25 Hwy 208, Yerington, Nevada 89447 (775) 463-2911.
