Obituary
Jean Marie Cook passed away at her home in Yerington, Nevada early Wednesday morning, January 2, 2008. She was 66.
Jean was born in Iowa on October 3, 1941 the daughter of Dale and Alice Marie (Christensen) Everson. She had married Vurniss LeRoy Cook on June 11, 1960 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jean had worked for over 35 years as a Bookkeeper and Office Manager.
Jean and her husband moved to Yerington 2 years ago from Las Vegas, Nevada.
She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Vurniss Cook of Yerington; her daughter, Daleine Marie Cook of Yerington; her son, Byron Ray Cook of Las Vegas; and her granddaughter, Tera Marie White of Yerington.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, January 6, 2008 at the Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home 25 Hwy 208 Yerington. Burial will be at the Northern Nevada Veterans Cemetery in Fernley, Nevada.
