Our wonderful and beautiful Jennifer Lee Stovall passed away at her home in Smith Valley, Nevada on Monday, March 16, 2020 in her sleep. She was 37 and gone too soon. Jen was born in Carson City, Nevada on February 14, 1983 the daughter of Lonnie and Judy Stovall. She attended First Baptist Church of Yerington and was baptized in the Walker River. Jen was no stranger to staying busy growing up in Smith Valley. She was greatly involved in 4-H, FFA raising livestock, played all four sports (cheer, softball, basketball, and volleyball), and was graceful on her toes as she practiced interpretive dance, tap, ballet, and even played the flute. She loved science, nature and she was also a talented and gorgeous Pageant and Rodeo Queen - all while helping to take loving care of her brothers, Clayton and Dustin, who both battled Cerebral Palsy. She did it all. After graduating with honors from Smith Valley High School, she received a full-ride scholarship and went on to earn two bachelor's degrees in Communications and Economics from the University of Nevada Reno. She was also instrumental in starting her Sorority Chapter on Campus and was President of the Equestrian Team. She met her fiance, Keegan Warner, in September 2009 doing one of her favorite hobbies, riding motorcycles. They were to be married this summer, 2020. She loved her country and wanted to make a difference so her conservative values lead her to Washington DC After spending six years living her dream in the nation's Capitol teaching Senators and Congressmen how to run for office, run campaigns, and coordinating large events for the Leadership Institute, Jen returned home to Smith Valley, Nevada with Keegan to live life on the ranch. In the next four and a half years, they helped her mom run the family ranch and began a successful Amazon FBA startup business. Jen is survived by fiancé Keegan Warner; mother Judy Holtzman Stovall, father Lonnie Stovall; her uncles, Jim Holtzman (Jessie Richburg), Tommy Holtzman (Nancy Holtzman); aunts, Sandy Holtzman Stovall (Lonnie Stovall), Jackie Stovall Mayer (Dick Mayer); cousins, JR Holtzman, Jason Holtzman, David Holtzman, Danny Stovall, and Larry Stovall. She was preceded in death by her brothers Clayton William Stovall and Dustin Thomas Stovall. Jen would dominate any room, make anyone smile, was incredibly easy to love and will be profoundly missed by everyone who knew her. A graveside committal service will be held for her at 12 noon Saturday, March 28, 2020 at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Smith Valley with a Church service and reception following at Smith Valley Baptist Church at 12:30 pm. NOTE: A Celebration of Life service will be held for her at a later date once travel and gatherings are encouraged due to the COVID-19/Coronavirus pandemic. We will attempt to live stream the Church Service via FacebookLive but will record and post to YouTube as well. We will update everyone with the necessary information to be virtually present via her personal Facebook page. Please contact Keegan with any questions. Family and friends are invited to sign her online guest book at www.FRFH.net, also sympathy cards may be sent directly from this site to Keegan and Judy. Please visit Jen's personal Facebook page to leave your favorite "Jen" stories! Jen's favorite charities are the Cerebral Palsy Foundation (as her brothers, Clayton & Dustin both battled this debilitating disease) and Honor Flight Network (as this was a charity she was proud to be a part of) if you would like to make a donation. Arrangements and burial are under the direction of Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home, 25 Hwy 208 Yerington, Nevada 89447 (775) 463-2911 |
