Obituary

Jerald Douglas Kruger passed away at his home in Yerington on Tuesday, April 7, 2020.  He was 72.

Jerry was born in Hawthorne, Nevada on November 19, 1947 the son of Henry and Eileen (Murphy) Kruger.  He graduated from Mineral County High School in 1965 and then attended University of Nevada, Reno for two years, then enlisted in the United States Air force.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing, camping, motorcycles, woodworking and NASCAR.  He was a member of the NRA, Reno Jeep Club and the Elks.

Jerry (OPA) is survived by his wife, Judy; son, Hans Kruger and step-son, David Allan; daughter, Carolyn Burns, step-daughters, Heidi Allan and Traci Allan; his brother, John Kruger; his grandchildren, who were the loves of his life, Jordan, Jade, Sinjin Allan, Caden, McKenna Mitchell, K.C., Shelby Burns, Quenton, Hudson Kruger; great grandchildren, Elainey and Everley Higday; several nieces and nephews and dear friends, Thom Silbaugh and Carolyn (Tootsie) Hubard.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and step-sister, Karen Colbert.

A graveside service with military honors has been scheduled for 1:00 pm Thursday, August 6th at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley Family and friends are invited to sign his online guest book at www.FRFH.net . , also sympathy cards may be sent directly to his wife from this site.
