Jesus Sandoval passed away Sunday, August 28, 2011 in Yerington. He immigrated to the United States from Mexico at the age 25 as a seasonal worker, which he was for many years. He married his loving wife of 35 years Maria Guadalupe and had 2 daughters which he adored. He brought his wife and daughters to Yerington in 1980 to be with him. His daughters grew up here, on the Gene Menesini ranch where they were able to enjoy and love agriculture and nature.
After retiring against his will due to medical conditions, he went to his native country in Mexico where he kept working in his flower and vegetable gardens. He planted anything that could be planted. He loved working outdoors, loved gardening and had the biggest green thumb ever. He could make anything grow. He was the most loving, friendly, caring human being that ever touched our lives. He loved his wife, Dona Lupe his daughters, Oralia (Oscar) and Ofelia (Noe), and his grandchildren; Erik, Marlene, Kevin "Temo", Michael, America, Natalia and Clarisa who made him laugh. He touched many lives and became friends with everyone he came in contact with. He leaves many memories, friends and his family. he will be missed by all. We love you "Papa Chuy", "Don Chuy", "Daddy" "Jesus". Keep watch over us always. You will always be in our hearts and mind. We will never forget you.
