Joe McCann passed away at his home in Yerington with family by his side on Sunday, September 27, 2020.  He was 93.

Joe was born in Yerington, Nevada on July 10, 1927 the son of Ed and Maime (Dempsey) McCann.

Joe had worked in Agriculture and also worked at the ski resort in June Lake and at Winners Corner until he retired.  He also was a professional Boxer.  His favorite sports were boxing a wood cutting.  He loved to run and always said he would race the deer and wild horses.

Joe is survived by his daughters, Daine, Darlene, Roxanne and Taylana; his grandkids, Heather McCann, Chris McCann, Tevin LaFond and many others; Great  Grandkids, Josaphyne, Rosalynn and also many others; his sister, Jennie Dick.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan; sons, Chris and Ralph; Sisters, Deora, Betty and Helen; his brothers, Albert, John and Ally and his parents.
