Obituary
John William Brock passed away Sunday evening, November 23, 2008 at the South Lyon Medical Center in Yerington. He was 77.
John was born in Los Angeles, California on October 5, 1931. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. John married Letitia Solek in 1953, they had four daughters, Loretta, Karen, Kathleen and Jennifer. John also had three adopted children with his second wife, Gloria, Ilah, Frank and Marianne; He is also survived by his sisters, Ruth, Lucille and Evelyn; and many nieces, nephews.
After retiring from Scolari's he enjoyed working in his garden and spending time fishing.
A Memorial funeral Mass will be 11:00 am on Friday, July 3, 2009 at the Holy Family Catholic Church. A reception lunch will be held following the service at the Catholic Hall.
