Obituary
John Charles Loop passed away on Friday, January 11, 2013 at the Carson Tahoe Hospital in Carson City, Nevada. He was 65.
John was born in Salem, Oregon on September 25, 1947 the son of Charles and Joyce (Gibson) Loop.
John had served in the United States Navy. He received the Vietnam Service Medal with one Bronze Star and the National Defense Service Medal.
John had lived in Yerington since 2002. He married Yvonne Kingsley on August 18, 2005 in Carson City, Nevada. He loved working with kids and was a Foster Grandparent. He also enjoyed Gold Prospecting.
John is survived by his wife, Yvonne; his sons, Christopher and Robert; his siblings, Glen, Sheryl, James, Timothy, Lora and Kerry; and his four grandsons.
John's Memorial service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, January 26, 2013 at the Faith Baptist Church, 5715 Elm Street Silver Springs, Nevada. His cremated remains will be placed at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley, Nevada.
