Joy M. Tibbals, our beloved mother, grandmother, gigi, sister, aunt and friend passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2016, at South Lyon Health Center. She was 81.

Joy was born on February 3, 1935, in Ogden, Utah, to Walter and Ella (Davidson) Millar.

She will always be remembered as a hardworking, talented, caring, giving woman, with a kind heart who loved her family and especially enjoyed her gigi's: the Bigs', the Mids', and the Littles'. Joy was and will continue to be an inspiration to us all.
Joy is survived by her eight children, Scott C. (Tanya) Ruddell, Sally (Doyle) Hall, JoElla (Roger) Tiscareno, Don W. (Sandy) Tibbals, Scott (Melissa) Tibbals, Mike (Cindy) Tibbals, Shawna Tibbals, Sherry Tibbals, 25 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, her sister Darlene Nelson, her brother Ed Millar, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Don H. Tibbals, her parents and brother Max Millar.
