Kathryn Rose Wilson passed away at her home in Yerington Thursday evening, April 29, 2010. She was 89.

Kathryn was born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada on November 3, 1920 the daughter of Joseph and Margaret (Clapper) Kavanaugh. She graduated from Owosso Bible School in Owosso, Michigan. She married DeVere Wilson on October 1, 1940 in Grant, Michigan. She has lived in Yerington for the past 8 years coming from Goleta, California. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.

Kathryn is survived by her sons, Howard Wilson of Yerington, Nevada and Kenneth Wilson of Goleta, California; her daughters, Jeannine Gardella of Yerington, Nevada and Marylee Walker of Lansing, Michigan; her 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, DeVere in July 1993 and her brother Glenn Kavanaugh.

A Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 am Monday, May 3rd, 2010 at the Holy Family Catholic Church 37 N, West Street Yerington. The Rosary will be recited at 10:30 am Monday prior to the Memorial Mass
