Kenneth Paul Bitler passed away on Thursday afternoon, February 1, 2018 at the South Lyon Medical Center, Yerington.  He was 72.

Ken was born in Reno on September 5, 1945 the son of Paul and Jessie (Yragui) Bitler.  Ken was a veteran having served in the US Air Force.
He married Peggy Aiazzi in 1980.

Ken enjoyed water and snow skiing, flying, fishing, farming and traveling and spending time with family and friends.  He also enjoyed driving around the valley with his dog, "Laddie".  He was a member of the Yerington Rotary Club, the Nevada Hay Growers and the SLMC District Board.

Ken is survived by his wife, Peggy; his son, Troy (Karen) Coutts; his daughter, Laurie Wilson; his sister, Lynn Peterson; his grandchildren, Shawnee (James) Jensen, Claire, Delaney, Phillip and Shane; his niece, Cherise and nephew, Jimmy.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the Catholic Center, 112 S. Virginia St Yerington with the reception following at the center.  Family and friends are invited to sign his online guest book at www.FRFH.net , also sympathy cards may be sent to Peggy directly from this site.  The family has requested that donations can be made in Ken's name to the Yerington Rotary Club Foundation, PO Box 1502 Yerington, NV 89447
