Kenneth Dale Karr passed away early Saturday morning, May 24, 2008 at the Regent Care Center of Reno. He was 85.

He was born January 4, 1923 in Jackson, Minnesota the son of Ottis and Grace (Bushnell) Karr.
He served in the US Army during World War II. Kenneth worked for over 32 years for GTE in Southern California. After his retirement he lived in Yerington for over 37 years. While in Yerington he had worked for the high school as a janitor. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and shooting with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Rosemary of Yerington; his children, Becky and her husband Kris Lemhi of Eureka, Montana, Dane and his wife Kathy Karr of Yucipa, California, Diana and her husband Lee Orvis of Vacaville, California, Robert Yturiaga of Occidental, California and Jack and his wife Susan Yturiaga of Carson City, Nevada, his daughter-in-law, Nancy of Las Vegas, Nevada; his eight grandchildren, Justin, Elizabeth, Lyndsey, Jeff, Tom and his wife Jackie, Joanna, Kelby, and Tristin. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Dale and his second wife, Beverly in 1975.

Local service are pending. His cremated remains will be placed at Montecito Memorial Park in San Bernardino, California.
