Obituary
Larry Jay Lemon, "Lefty" passed away at his home in Yerington, Nevada on Thursday evening, February 25, 2016. He was 72.
He was born in Casa Grande, Arizona on December 4, 1943 the son of 'Buck' Jesse James and Ozell Dorothy (Davis) Lemon.
Lefty had served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam war.
He had lived the past 10 years in Yerington coming from Fish Lake Valley, Nevada. He had been a farmer for may years. Lefty enjoyed fishing, reading and quilting.
He is survived by his sons, Michael, Matthew and William; his daughters, Jamie and Sharlene; his brother, Terry Lemon and sisters, Marline Ives and Shilla Denise Brooks; his grandchildren, Madison, Jacob, Taylor and Colton. He was preceded in death by his parents.
His graveside service with military honors will be held 1:00 pm Friday, March 4, 2016 at the Fish lake Valley Cemetery.
