Obituary
Emil Lawrence 'Larry' Olsen passed away at South Lyon Medical Center in Yerington, Nevada on Monday afternoon, March 10, 2008. He was 79.
Larry was born in San Francisco, California on August 28, 1928 the son of William and Anna (Aske) Olsen. Larry grew up in the Bay area. He served in the U.S. Army.
He had worked as a longshoreman.
Larry had been a resident of Yerington for the past four years.
He is survived by his wife, Wilma of Yerington; his son, Bob of California and his step-daughter Christine Binford. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sons, William and Bill and his brother, William B. Olsen.
Private family service will be held at a later date. Cremation was under the direction of Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home 25 Hwy 208 Yerington, NV 89447 (775) 463-2911. Memorial donations may be made in his name to the South Lyon Medical Center, Long Term Care; PO Box 940 Yerington, NV 89447.
