Obituary
Leland H. Medaris passed away at his home in Yerington early Wednesday morning, January 23, 2008. He was 83.
He was born in Oklahoma on January 5, 1925. He worked as a machinist for many years and has lived in Yerington for the past 12 years coming from San Diego, California. He married Joanne Moris in Las Vegas, Nevada on November 26, 1993.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne of Yerington, Nevada; by his step-daughters, Laura Jaszkowiak of El Cajon, California, Sandra and her husband Greg Capps of Enoch, Utah, Donna and her husband Jeff King of Riverside, California; his three grandchildren, Christina, Sarah and Daniel Capps all of Enoch, Utah; his brother and sister in laws, Robert and Katherine Moris of Escondido, California, Charles and Patricia Moris of Burien, Washington and Ardie and Lyla Myreck of Carson City, Nevada.
In keeping with his wishes no memorial service will be held. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home, 25 Hwy 208 Yerington (775) 463-2911.
