Lola Sue Weller passed away on Sunday afternoon, February 19, 2012 at her home in Yerington, Nevada with her family by her side. She was 71.
Lola was born in Dora, Missouri on September 10, 1940 the daughter of Alfonso and Martha (Freeman) Shipley.
Lola had lived in Yerington as a child and attended school here, she left the area and later returned, living the last 25 years in Yerington. She worked as a waitress at the Stagestop for many years and also owned her business Lola's Cleaning Service. She enjoyed fishing, camping and cake decorating.
Lola is survived by her children, Jerry Goodyear, Edward Wedlake, Russell Wedlake and Catherine Taylor; by her brothers, John Shipley, Sonny Homan and Lewis (Doc) Shipley; her sisters, Treva Peterson and Linda Lee; her grandchildren, Jessie Goodyear, Amber Goodyear, Chris Goodyear, Erin Harp, David Clark, Tamara Wedlake; great grandchildren, Alissa, Kylee, Tyler, Dominque and Logan. Numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ron Weller, her brothers, Al and Arlie and sisters, Maxine Hale, Lorrine Driskel and Ella Mae Hunter.
In keeping with her wishes no memorial service will be held.
