Obituary
Lona Katenay passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at the Renown Medical Center in Reno. She was 52.
Lona was born in Gallup, New Mexico on March 12, 1964 the daughter of Earl and Wanda Katenay.
Lona is survived by her long time companion, Avery Lopez; her sons, Mario Lopez, Avery Lopez, Jr., Danny lopez, Peter Lopez, Michael Lopez, Dustin Lopez and mark Lopez; her daughter, Kayla Lopez; her brother, Doug Katenay and sister, Reynese Salas; her grandchildren, Eli Bryan, Peyton Lopez and Marcus Lopez.
Her funeral service will be held 10:00 am Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the Yerington Tribal Gym in Yerington. Viewing will be at the gym 30 minutes prior to the service and also following the service. Burial will be at the Tribal Section of the Valley View Cemetery.
