Lorraine Johnson passed away on Friday, February 8, 2013 at the Renown Medical Center in Reno, Nevada, with her family by her side. Lorraine was 64.

Lorraine was born in Schurz, Nevada on March 6, 1948 the daughter of Francis and Juanita (Conway) Johnson. She was a lifetime resident of Yerington, and attended Yerington Elementary and Yerington High School.

Although Lorraine never married she had alot of family that she took upon herself to care for, sometimes putting their needs first. She enjoyed being a homemaker and attending family functions, also enjoyed beading, drawing, yardwork and gardening.

Lorraine is survived by her sisters, Cecilia Emm, Doreen Johnson, Gail Romo and Loretta Johnson; her brothers, Fred Johnson, Don Johnson, and Martin Johnson; also by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Rosetta Johnson, Gloria Jean Johnson, Regina Johnson and Shirley Johnson, also by her parents. Lorraine was our sister and good friend who you could always count on to listen and talk too which could always make you feel better. We were lucky to have her this long time, she was a very special person to us and others..a special lady for sure.

Lorraine's family will hold private family service and burial of her cremains.
