Lorrayne M. Hubmer, 89, a resident of Yerington for the past 10 years passed away at her home on Friday, October 14, 2011.
She was born in San Mateo, California on May 3, 1922. Lorrayne married Harold W. Hubmer in St. Clair, Minnesota on August 3, 1922.
While raising their two children in Wapato, WA, Lorrayne was involved as a Cub Scout mother, a Blue Bird leader and a member of several organizations. She loved people and was always eager to help and serve others. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, the South lyon Hospital Auxiliary, the Community United Methocist church and the local Chapter of P.E.O.
She is survived by a daughter, Judie and son-in-law Mitch of Athello, WA; son, Wally and daughter-in-law Laura of Yerington; six grandchildren, Jeff, Heather, Abbie, Jami, Chris and Ben; and nine grandchildren.
A Memorial service will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, November 12th at the Community United Methodist Church 221 North Main Street Yerington.
