Obituary

Louis Elmer Fleager passed away Friday afternoon, December 15, 2006 at the South Lyon Medical Center, Yerington. He was 89.

Louis was born in LaCenter, Washington August 24, 1917 the son of Elmer and Rose (Sutton) Fleager. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He had owned a trucking business for many years. He was known around Lyon County for the last 25 years for making of wood clocks and canning of garlic. He had many friends and was known as a very big hearted man. He was loved dearly by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his two daughters, Roxanne and her husband James Megowan and Bernadine and her husband Joseph Elmore; three grandchildren, Carl, Marty and Debbie and numerous great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, of 60 years, Grace Fleager in 2001 and by a son, Gary.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home, Yerington 463-2911.
