Lynda Kathleen Sahagun passed away unexpectedly at her home in Yerington, Nevada on Tuesday, September 7, 2010. She was 61.

Lynda was born in Alhambra, California on November 17, 1948 the daughter of Earl and Genevieve (Bears) Weier. She married Joseph L. Sahagun, Jr. in California on October 1, 1970. Lynda worked many years as a Mortgage processor.

Lynda and Joe have lived in Yerington for the past 6 1/2 years coming from Riverside, California.

Lynda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph L. Sahagun, Jr.; her children, Joseph and wife Charmayne M. Sahagun, Chuck and his wife Lisa Cauwel Sahagun, Todd Bear, Lysa and her husband Bob Humildad and Heidi and her husband Matt Ramsey; her brother, Michael Weier and Sisters, Diane Schwarz and Pat Bewley; and her 17 grandchildren; Jenna, Geoff and Sarah Humildad, Tiffany, Christian and Michael Sahagun, Jennifer, Cassaundra, Christian, and Andrew Cauwel, Brittney, Shelby and Tanner Ramsey, Dylan, Amber, Kylee and Cody Bear. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, September 11th, at her son's home, 307 S. California Street Yerington.
