On Friday, May 22, 2020 Madeline May Aeschlimann passed away at the age of 93 at the Mason Valley Residence. Madeline was born January 13, 1927 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to Erik and Elmo (Bishop) Rumstedt. She graduated from Olney High School, Philadelphia, PA in June of 1944. Upon graduation she put her office skills to work with the Penn Railroad Office and then as a bank teller. It was at this time she met "her Navy man", Armand Aeschlimann, who was stationed in the "Philly" area for a short time. To make a long love story short, Madeline and Armand were married in Yerington, Nevada on May 31, 1947 at the Methodist Church. Madeline was preceded in death by her husband of almost 50 yrs, Armand (Ash); her mother Elmo and step-father Earl Dalton; step-brother Leon Dalton; brothers-in-law Darrell Montgomery and Stanley Alexandrowicz. She is survived by daughter Karen; close family friend "the other daughter", Toni Garms; sisters Carole Montgomery, Earlene Alexandrowicz, and Rosalie Eldridge; sister-in-law Mary Dalton; brother-in-law Lawrence Aeschlimann and wife Neysa; numerous nieces and nephews in the East and West. A graveside service will be held 10:00 am Monday, June 1, 2020 at the Valley View Cemetery.
