Margaret Stefenoni passed away at her home in Schurz on Wednesday, July 26, 2023.  She was 96.

She was born in Schurz December 12, 1926 the daughter of Clarence and Eva (Sam) Hogan.  She had married Silvo Stefenoni and he had passed away December 16, 2009.  Margaret worked many years as a Dietician for the Indian Health Services.

Margaret is survived by her son, Ramon Oceguera, Jr ; her daughters, Deanna Montooth, Elena Sampson, Cecelia McKay, Alecia Oceguera, Mona Taylor, Lydia Thime and Cynthia Oceguera; her 24 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.

Her funeral service and viewing is set for 1:00 pm Friday, August 4th at the Walker River Tribal Gym in Schurz with burial at the Schurz Cemetery.  Family and friends are invited to sign her online guest book at www.FRFH.net
