Obituary
Marian Hicks passed away at her home early Saturday morning, October 17, 2009 with her family by her side. She was 69.
Marian was born in Yerington on April 15, 1940 the daughter of Richard and Lena (Tabby) Conway
She lived in Yerington her entire live. She enjoyed beading and played softball. She spent much time following her sons and other family members when they were involved in demolition derbys.
She is survived by her sons, Leland Tom and Lyle Tom; a grandson, Richard Tom and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Lance Tom; her husband Ronnie Hicks; her brothers, Ernie Conway, Ralph Conway, Franklin Conway; and sister Margaret Conway all of Yerington and a brother, Fred Mike, Jr. of Ione, Ca.
A private family burial will be held. A gathering and dinner for family and friends will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, October 23, at her home 408 Cottonwood Avenue Yerington.
