Marjorie Mae McKay Linscott passed away early Wednesday morning, February 6, 2008 surrounded by her family at the Renown Medical Center in Reno. She was 79.
Marjorie was born in Sweetwater, Nevada on March 21, 1928 the daughter of Chester and Edith (Fredericks) Keeley.
She is survived by her husband, Jack Linscott of Smith Valley; a son, Bob and his wife Kaye McKay of Smith Valley; her three daughters, Dixie and her husband Bert King of Reno, Mary Lou Duhart of Yerington and Jacqueline and her husband Clay Coburn of Paducah, Kentucky; her 11 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren and by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and a sister, her son, James and first husband,Mervin M. McKay.
Memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Monday, February 11. 2008 at the Smith Valley Community Methodist Church with Pastor Tom Walburn officiating. Inurnment will be at the Hillcrest Cemetery. A reception will follow the service at the church.
