Obituary
A celebration of Life service will be held for Marlene R. Kropelnicki on Saturday, August 11, 2007 at 10:00 am at the Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home 25 Hwy 208 Yerington. A lunch will be served following the service at the home of Alex Kropelnicki.
Marlene died with dignity and grace at sunrise on July 29, 2007 after a courageous fight with brain cancer. She was 72.
Among her survivors are her beloved husband of 52 years, Alex; her 4 children and their spouses and 7 grandchildren. Further, she was blessed by being a part of a large and caring extended family with many surviving members. She will always be remembered by her love of family and friends.
In lieu of flowers and gifts donations may be made in her name to the Recht Brain Tumor Research Laboratory at Standford Comprehensive Cancer Center. Memorials may be sent to Stanford University: Recht Laboratory Attention J.F. Sonne 2700 Sand Hill Road Menlo Park, California 94025.
