Obituary
Martha Ruby Murrell passed away Tuesday morning, January 30, 2007 at the Renown Medical Center in Reno. She was 92.
She was born in Gas City, Kansas on November 30, 1914 one of twelve siblings of Charles and Fran West. She was full of life and had a heart of an angel. She would always say being only 4'11", "Dynamite comes in small packages." She married Pete Murrell and they had and raised two children, Patricia and Michael. She had lived in Yerington for over 43 years and in 1993 she had moved to Carson City to live with her daughter, after her daughter passed away she then moved to Reno and lived there until her death. she was spunky, lovable and one of a kind. For anyone that ever knew her, knew how very special she was. She will be missed but her legacy will go on.
She was preceded in death by her parents, all of her brothers and sisters except her younger brother, Arthur West, and by her two children. She is also survived by her grandchildren.
A graveside funeral service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, February 10th at the Valley View Cemetery in Yerington.
