Obituary
Mary Jane Roberts died peacefully at her home in Yerington, Nevada on August 23, 2007. She was 83.
Mary was born in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of Robert and Edith (Cooper) Akers on September 23, 1923. She married George E. Roberts on October 10, 1946 in Valdosta, Georgia. She had lived in Yerington the past 9 years coming from Florida where she lived in Tierra Verde and Pine Key for over 60 years.
She is survived by her children, Sue Frishman of Yerington, Nevada and Bob Roberts of Tierra Verde, Florida; her brother, John Akers of Granda Hills, California; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
In keeping with her wishes no memorial service will be held. Cremation has been held and her cremains will be scattered in Florida at a later date. Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home, Yerington was in charge of the cremation arrangements.
