Obituary
Mary Jane Roberts died peacefully at her home in Yerington, Nevada on August 23, 2007.
Mary was born in Detroit, Michigan on September 23, 1923 the daughter of Robert and Edith (Cooper) Akers. She married George E. Roberts on October 10, 1946 in Valdosta, Georgia. She lived the past 9 years in Yerington, coming from Florida, where she lived in Terra Verde and Pine Key for over 60 years.
She is survived by her children, Sue Frishman of Yerington and Bob Roberts of Terra Verde, Florida; her brother, John Akers of Granda Hills, California; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sister, Sue, a brother, Bob and a granddaughter, Carol Lyman and a niece, Jane.
In keeping with her wishes no memorial service will be held. Her cremains will be scattered at a later date in Flordia. Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home 25 Hwy 208 Yerington, Nevada was in charge of the cremation arrangements. Family and friends may sign the online guest book at www.FRFH.net
