Obituary
Maxine Elizabeth Barton passed away on Sunday afternoon, June 17, 2007 at the South Lyon Medical Center, Long Term Care in Yerington, Nevada. She was 83.
Maxine was born September 19, 1923 in Iowa Falls, Iowa the daughter of Fred and Mollie Meyer. She grew up in Iowa Falls and graduated from Iowa Falls High School. She married Al Barton on February 16, 1963. She had been a Yerington resident for many years.
She is survived by a brother, Leonard and his wife Annabel Meyer; her five sisters, Freda Winter, Mildred Poland, Wilma Wulke, Arlene Smit and Marilyn and her husband Dean Fusman. And by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sister, Dorothy and brother, Henry.
In keeping with her wishes no memorial service will be held.
Memorials may be made in her name to the Yerington Senior Center 117 Tilson Way Yerington, Nevada 89447.
