Maxine Ford a lifelong resident of Yerington, passed away at her home on Friday afternoon, October 7, 2011. She was 102.

Maxine was born in Yerington on October 4, 1909 the daughter of Louis and Lydia (Holland) Trankle.

She married Paul Ford in San Francisco, California on October 13, 1931. They lived in Yerington running different businesses and Maxine also had worked at the Mason Valley Bank. She enjoyed playing bridge and painting. Maxine was a member of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her son, Tom Ford of Fremont, California. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Gene and Charles, her sister, Lola Montelatici, her son Gerald and her husband, Tom.

A Memorial service will be held for Maxine on Thursday, October 13th at 11:00 am at the Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home 25 Hwy 208 Yerington.
