Obituary
Michael Lee Ellis passed away on Saturday evening, November 6, 2010 at the South Lyon Medical Center in Yerington. He was 54.
Michael was born in Painesville, Ohio on July 4, 1956 the son of Ernest and Sheila Ellis.
Michael always had a kind word, a sweet smile and extended hand and heart to all he met. Music was an extension of Michael and a reflection of himself to others for their enjoyment. During his illness, however, his music became a soothing gift to himself.
Michael had lived in Hawthorne for many years and in Yerington for the past nine years.
Michael is survived by his Mother, Sheila Tucker; his daughters, Heather and Sarah; his sisters, Linda Lee Mellish and Rosie Cunningham; a nephew, Michael and niece, Emily; and many loving and kind friends in Hawthorne and Yerington. He was preceded in death by his father.
Celebration of Life service and potluck will be held 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 20th at the Running Iron in Yerington. Cremation has taken place and his family will take his cremated remains home.
