Milton Rubino passed away at his his home in Yerington on Tuesday afternoon, September 2, 2008. He was 88.
Milton was born in Oakland, California on December 31, 1919 the son of Joseph and Josephine Rubino. He was a World War II veteran having served in the United States Army. After his discharge from the Army he married Grace Cardinale in Pittsburg, California on January 23, 1944. He owned and operated his own wholesale Produce business. He and his wife have lived in Yerington for the past 11 years coming from Concord, California. He enjoyed gardening, was a member of the Moose Lodge and a member of the Holy Family Italian Catholic Federation.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Grace of Yerington; his son and his wife, Joseph and Malena Rubino of Concord, CA; his daughters, Carole and husband Alan Ray of Bakersfield, CA and Barbara Bernadette of Eugene, Oregon; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Joseph.
A Memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, September 6, 2008 at the Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home 25 Hwy 208 Yerington, Nevada 89447.
