Mirable 'Rusty' Crabtree passed away on October 19, 2006 at South Lyon Medical Center, Long Term Care, Yerington. She was 97.

She was born in Bridgeport, Conn. the daughter of Harriet and Archibald Miller. She was getting ready to celebrate he 98th birthday at a party to be given by her many, loving friends.

She grew up in albany, New York. In school she majored in physical fitness. She was extermely proud of the fact that her ancestors arrived in america in 1638 and her membership in the DAR. Her first husband was killed in WWII. During her travels with her Mother and young daughter, Shirley, she met and married the love of her life, Woodrow Crabtree. They lived in many places while raising their family, from Cayucos, on th ePacific Oceon, to ann Inn in New Hampshire, to Arkansas the to Branson, Issouri. She had resided in Yerington for the last five years.

Rusty was was preceded in death by her parents and husband. she is survived by her daughter, Shirley Garner of Hollister, Missouri and her son Phillip and his wife Toni Crabtree of Smith Valley; a grandson, Jason and his wife Patty Damon of Reno and one great grandson Dominic Damon.
