Myrle Robert Linville passed away at his home in Yerington, Nevada on Monday morning, March 17, 2008. He was 85.

He was born in Roseville, California on March 18, 1922 the son of Issac and Ora (Cox) Linville. He was a World War II veteran having served in the
U. S. Army in the 3038 Engineering Regiment and served in Africa and Italy during the war. He married Lois Mae Bell in Richmond, California January 4, 1948. He had worked as a roofing Estimator and in Hotel Management. He enjoyed working with wood and building. He built his home in Yerington. In had lived with his wife in Yerington for over 30 years.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lois of Yerington; his daughters, Claudia Torrey and Susan Hambrick both of Sparks, Nevada; his four grandchildren, Jeremey Coleman and Kevin Taylor, Charolotte Hambrick and Samuel Hambrick; his 4 great grandchildren; also by his two sisters, Bonnie Tom and Frieda Kohout both of Sacramento, California.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 2:15 pm Wednesday, April 16th, 2008 at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Fernley, Nevada. The Veterans Memorial Association will provide the military honors. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home 25 Hyw 208 Yerington, Nevada 89447.
