Myrtle Glemstedt passed away at her residence at Just Like Home in Yerington on Tuesday evening, January 6, 2009. She was 97.

Myrtle was born in Mason, Nevada the daughter of George and Annie Keema. She graduated from Yerington High School and then attended the University of Nevada, Reno. Myrtle married Carl Gelmstedt in 1933. She worked as a Teacher and also as Secretary in the Gelmstedt Insurance Agency.

She is survived by her Granddaughter, Rhonda Williams; a great granddaughter, Crystal Burch and a great great grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Carl.

Funeral service will be held graveside 1:00 pm Saturday, January 10th at the Valley View Cemetery.
