Norma D. Baker passed away Thursday evening, October 23, 2014 at the South Lyon Medical Center in Yerington, Nevada. She was 89.

Norma was born in Reno, Nevada on January 17, 1925 the daughter of James and Dorthea (Rasmussen) Madsen She had attended Business College in Reno. Norma married Harold W. Baker September 4, 1949.

She had been a long time Mason Valley resident moving her in 1959 to the Baker Ranch. She enjoyed the outdoors, and very much enjoyed fishing. Norma was a 50 year member of Beta Sigma Phi.

Norma is survived by her Sons, Gregory Baker and Scott (Diane) Baker; her granddaughters, Shasta (Joel) Burns, Carrie Baker and Misty Baker; her grandson, Travis (Heather) Baker and her great granddaughter, Georgia Burns. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Harold who passed away in 1988.

Her Memorial service will be held 11:00 am Friday, October 31, 2014 at the Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home, 25 Hwy 208 Yerington, NV.
