Our beloved Mom, grandma, and great grandma Norma Borsini passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 10, 2019 at the South Lyon Medical Center. She was 89.
Norma was born July 14, 1928 in Alturas, California the daughter of Dale and Audrey Jones. She later moved to Yerington where she became a lifelong resident. After high school she married Pete Borsini and had tow kids. She believed in working hard and even spent her honeymoon cutting hay with an old sickle mower pulled by a team of horses. driving cattle by horse from Yerington to Bridgeport was a job that had to be done every year and she always looked forward to it. She knew ranch life was not easy but it was a lifestyle she enjoyed.
Norma had the biggest heart ever and always made time for her family. She loved her family more that the world and later wuit working the ranch so she could see her grandkids in the school system where she later retired from. She drove her grandkids everywhere in her famous car 'Puddle Jumper'. Her grandkids all knew that "Grandma Gigi' would be delighted to see them and would be very interested in all their activities.
Norma loved to go camping and playing a game of cards or dice. Not too many people could say that they have beat Norma at a game of cards or dice. She loved all animals and had many pets including raccoons, but loved her dogs and horses the most.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Pete, her daughter Patricia, sister Carolee and brother, Dale, also her very good friend, Francis Goettsch.
