Obituary
Norma Evelyn Edwards passed away at her home in Yerington, Nevada on Saturday morning, September 18, 2010. She was 90.
She was born to a pioneer family, Leland and Mary (Ambrose) Brown in Reno, Nevada on January 20, 1920. Norma's great grandfather built the Brown Ranch in southern Washoe County, which is now on the historic register as the 'Brown-Damonte Ranch'. Her grandfather and father were both born at the ranch, same room, same bed. She moved to Hawthorne in 1946 and resided there until 1956 when she moved to Reno & Gardnerville and then returned to Hawthorne in 1963 where she lived until 2000. She has lived in Yerington since that time.
Norma is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Judith and Anthony Kendall; her 1 grandson and 1 great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ernest 'Eddie' Edwards who passed away April 1997.
In keeping with her wishes no services will be held.
